Smart article - I like it a lot. But I am struggling to connect your advice (map your roadmap to company goals) to the visual example you give.
When I see "new software platform in HR & Finance" and "release v2 build on new platform", to me these read much more like interal "to dos" than actual, strategic business goals. Am I misinterpreting the example?
And how do the four columns work (Idea, Execution, Growth, Refine)? Intuitively I'd have thought that it is the stage of a workstream, but then I see that some things are in all four columns.
In general, would love to learn more about how you implement your framework in practice.
